Dual Enrollment

Career & College Promise (CCP) is a partnership with North Carolina Virtual Academy (NCVA) and North Carolina’s dual enrollment program. This program allows eligible NCVA high school students to enroll in college classes at North Carolina community colleges and universities.

Students who successfully complete courses earn college credit that they can take with them after graduation. In many cases, students can also earn dual credit to meet high school graduation requirements with college courses.

CCP pays for college classes taken by high school students. The program also helps reduce the cost of a college degree, career certification, or diploma. CCP can make post-secondary education a viable option for students who might otherwise believe the cost of college is out of reach.
