North Carolina Virtual Academy Earns National Beta School of Distinction Award
North Carolina Virtual Academy (NCVA) is celebrating an exciting achievement: The school has been named a 2025–2026 National Beta School of Distinction by National Beta.
The recognition honors Beta clubs that demonstrate growth while encouraging students to develop leadership, character, academic achievement and a commitment to serving others. To earn School of Distinction recognition, schools must increase their Beta club membership by at least 10% from the previous school year.
For NCVA, the honor reflects the continued growth and engagement of its Beta students and the school community supporting them.
Celebrating Student Growth and Leadership
National Beta provides students with opportunities to build leadership skills, serve their communities and connect their academic experiences with meaningful activities beyond the classroom.
The 2025–2026 School of Distinction recognition was awarded to 2,959 schools across the country, making NCVA’s achievement one worth celebrating.
As a full-time online public school serving K–12 students across North Carolina, NCVA is committed to creating opportunities for students to pursue their interests, build connections and develop skills that can support them both in and beyond the classroom.
A Milestone Worth Celebrating
NCVA’s National Beta School of Distinction recognition highlights what can happen when students are encouraged to get involved, take on leadership opportunities and contribute to their school community.
Congratulations to NCVA’s Beta students, families and educators on this well-deserved achievement!
